These essential household items support seniors moving into safe, stable housing.

  • Towel sets

  • Small Appliances (blenders, toasters, coffee makers, air fryers, etc)

  • Dishes, silverware, and glasses

  • Sheet sets, pillows, and blankets

  • Serving Dishes

  • Pots and Pans

  • Board games and cards

PERSONAL ITEMS THAT ARE NEEDED

New clothing and personal-care items help seniors feel confident and prepared for success.

  • New clothes for interviews for men and women

  • Pajamas, slippers, robes

  • Winter clothing (light coats, scarves, gloves, socks, hand, and foot warmers

  • Shower caps and shower shoes

  • Purses, wallets, and backpacks

  • Bath and shower gels

  • Razors, electric shavers, and beard trimmers

ELECTRONIC ITEMS THAT ARE NEEDED

  • Smart Speakers

  • Headphones

  • Firestick

  • Batteries of all sizes

  • Portable Phone Chargers for Samsung and iPhone

  • Computers and printers for community room use

  • 55 in televisions for community room use

  • GIFT CARDS for Walmart and Target to be used by staff 

• Used electronics are accepted if they are clean, safe, and in good working condition.

FURNITURE THAT IS NEEDED

Furniture donations help us create safe, comfortable living spaces for seniors.

  • Couches

  • Tables and chairs

  • Full sized bed frames

  • Nightstands

  • Footlockers

  • Coffee tables

  • Lamps for bedrooms and community rooms

  • Dressers

  • Standing lockers for clothing

  • Mattresses (for sanitary reasons we can only accept new only)

Cash donations help Group Home Alliance coordinate housing support, essential resources, and emergency assistance for seniors across Metro Atlanta.

How Your Cash Donation Helps:

Provides basic toiletries and personal items for residents.

Contributes to one week of meals for a resident.

Assists with educational programs and job training.

Helps fund emergency housing for those in need.

Supports home repairs and essential upgrades for safer living conditions.

Group Home Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving housing stability and quality of life for adults age 55+ or seniors across Metro Atlanta.
We partner with referral agencies, case managers, and community organizations to help seniors access safe housing, essential resources, and ongoing support.
