Transitional housing provides short-term, supportive housing options for adults age 55+ who need stability while working toward long-term housing. Group Home Alliance helps eligible seniors and veterans access transitional housing through coordinated referrals, supportive services, and community partnerships across Metro Atlanta.

Our program is purpose-built for:
Seniors (55+) experiencing housing instability
Older adults with disabilities who can live independently
Senior veterans who need a safe, supportive bridge to permanent housing
Older adults leaving shelters, hospitals, or unsafe living situations
We provide a dignified, private, and stable environment while coordinating the resources they need for long-term success.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, individuals must be:
55 years or older
Able to live independently (with or without a disability)
Referred by a partner agency, case manager, hospital, or community provider
Seeking transition to stable, long-term housing
We welcome senior veterans, older adults in crisis, and aging adults facing unsafe or unstable housing.
