At Group Home Alliance, we help adults age 55+, veterans, and partner agencies navigate housing support and long-term stability through coordinated services, community partnerships, and benefit navigation across Metro Atlanta.

Our goal is to improve the lives of aging adults by providing housing-focused services that promote safety, stability, independence, and long-term success.

Senior Housing Navigation & Placement

Friendly Meeting

Housing navigation and placement support for adults age 55+ and veterans across Metro Atlanta.

 

​Our services include::​

  • Housing search & placement support

  • Safety-vetted room and housing options

  • Coordinated warm handoffs with referral partners

  • Support for seniors exiting homelessness or unstable housing

  • Ongoing stability check-ins to support long-term success

 

Goal: Ensure every senior has a safe place to call home.

Benefits Access & Resource Coordination

Support to help seniors and veterans access housing-related benefits, income supports, and coordinated services.

Supports include:

  • SSI / SSDI application and recertification assistance

  • Veterans benefits support

  • SNAP, Medicaid/Medicare navigation

  • Food, transportation, and utility resources

  • Healthcare and disability resources

  • Case management coordination

  • Stability planning for long-term success

 

Goal: Ensure seniors have the financial and resource support needed to thrive.

Community Events & Senior Engagement

Food Packing

Community events designed to support housing stability, education, and connection for older adults and caregivers.

Events include:

  • Affordable Housing Resource Fair for Seniors
    Connecting older adults directly to housing providers, benefits, healthcare, and support services.

  • Senior Wellness & Resource Pop-Ups
    Neighborhood-based outreach events providing on-site support.

  • Caregiver Support Workshops
    Training, education, and tools for families caring for aging adults.

  • Agency Networking Events
    Creating stronger partnerships that expand housing pathways for seniors.

 

Goal: Build community, increase access, and strengthen networks that support older adults.

Group Home Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving housing stability and quality of life for adults age 55+ or seniors across Metro Atlanta.
We partner with referral agencies, case managers, and community organizations to help seniors access safe housing, essential resources, and ongoing support.
Through education, outreach, and community partnerships, we promote independence, dignity, and long-term stability for the seniors we serve.
