Affordable housing is a growing challenge across the nation, but The Group Home Alliance is here to make a difference. We are proud to announce our Affordable Housing & Resource Fairs, a series of community events designed to connect individuals and families with essential housing resources and services. Starting with our first fair on October 12, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Thomasville Recreation Center, 1835 Henry Thomas Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30315, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.
A One-Stop Solution for Housing & Support Services
The Affordable Housing & Resource Fair is more than just an event; it is a collaborative effort bringing together a diverse range of service providers under one roof. Attendees will have access to rental assistance programs, utility support, healthcare and wellness screenings, educational resources, temporary staffing agencies, and more. By bringing these services together, we aim to make it easier for individuals to get the help they need, right on the spot.
Expanding Our Reach: Touring Nationwide in 2025
We understand that the need for affordable housing solutions is not limited to Atlanta. That's why we are excited to share that we will be going on tour in 2025! Our mission is to extend these vital resources beyond Georgia, reaching cities like Detroit, MI, Nashville, TN, and Cleveland, OH. We want to bring hope and support to communities across multiple states, and we invite you to be part of this impactful journey.
Our Partnerships: A Network of Support
The Group Home Alliance believes in the power of partnerships. We are proud to collaborate with a variety of organizations committed to bettering the community, including Harbor Halo, Agape Health Services, and many more. These partnerships allow us to provide a wide range of services and ensure that no one is left without support. By leveraging our collective resources, we aim to uplift communities and make affordable housing a reality for those who need it most.
